Ghana Open For Travel! | Removal Of Covid Entry Requirements

As of Monday 28th March 2022 the entry requirements to enter Ghana have now been removed for vaccinated travellers.

This means for vaccinated travellers, you will no longer require a pre departure PCR test or the covid test on arrival at Kotoka.

You will still require a valid tourist visa, yellow fever vaccination certificate and proof of covid vaccination.

If you require any assistance in your preparation – please email us directly at contact@atlasvolunteers.com or use the live chat feature.

No you are now able to enter Ghana with a negative PCR test if you’re not covid vaccinated. However you will require a yellow fever vaccination to be able to enter the country. Hope this helps.

Please confirm the requirement for a “Letter of Invitation” as stated by the London Ghana embassy when applying for a tourist visa. Thanks.

Yes that is correct. When applying for the tourist visa, you will supply two references, ID of host and an invitation letter. If you apply and are accepted onto our programs, you will receive a welcome pack that will have further details on this.
