The largest canopy walk in the country is located in Kakum National Park however we are lucky to have one close by in the Kwahu mountains a short drive away. After a steep climb up the steps to the top of the mountain, a suspended canopy walk and zipline awaits with views over Obo and surrounding forests.
Lake Volta is the largest man made lake in the world and only around a 30 minute drive from the volunteer housing. Here you can hire powered canoes to visit the centre of the lake and swim or watch the sunset with a drink. These can also be used to visit the remote villages bordering the lake.
